Is Verstappen struggling to choose? He reveals what he still wants to do in the future

Although it has become clear that Max Verstappen will continue to drive for Red Bull Racing in Formula 1 for the time being, the four-time world champion has spoken out about other challenges he would like to tackle. In a video on the YouTube channel of Ford Performance, he explained exactly what this entails.
Verstappen got into the car with British journalist and driver, Chris Harris. The Red Bull driver told him that he would like to work with Ford in the future.
The American automaker will become the engine supplier for Red Bull from 2026, but for Verstappen there may be more to it than just a collaboration in Formula 1.
''They're coming back to Le Mans with a hypercar as well so, come on,'' Verstappen suggested. When asked by Harris what attracts him to it, the four-time world champion said: ''Of course, a hypercar for sure. I like of course the GT3 you want to do your Nordschleife, the 24 hours of Spa.''
Harris drove the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife three times, something Verstappen still aspires to do as he stated. However, this adventure was not a great success for the British journalist, once finishing in thirteenth place and not finishing twice.

Sebring is an iconic American circuit where Verstappen wants to race in the future.
Another option for Verstappen in addition to Le Mans
The 24 Hours of Le Mans is part of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Although Verstappen does not hide his desire to participate here someday, there is also another class that interests him.
Chris Harris mentioned the American circuit, Sebring. Verstappen responded: ''I have been fortunate enough to drive there once. It’s nuts! It’s insane that is still out there.''
Sebring is the annual backdrop for a twelve-hour race in the IMSA class, the American equivalent of the WEC. The 24 Hours of Daytona is also part of this championship, and Verstappen has set his sights on this too: ''All of it, I want to do all of it!''

Verstappen not leaving Formula 1 for now
However, Verstappen will have to wait a bit longer before taking part in those prestigious events. On media day ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, he confirmed he will continue racing for Red Bull Racing next year.
Helmut Marko even stated there’s no doubt the Dutchman will remain with the Austrian team until at least 2028, when his current contract expires.
