Is Norris worried about Ferrari's pace? 'That'll help against Verstappen'

Lando Norris needs to maximise every weekend to stand a chance of becoming Formula 1 World Champion at the end of the season. While he has to ensure he beat Max Verstappen to bridge the gap, the McLaren driver also faced tough competition from Ferrari in the United States Grand Prix.
Norris must close a 57-point gap in the five remaining Grand Prix weekends. He needs to make up over 11 points per race weekend to beat Verstappen, so he needs to ensure he finishes as high as possible. Last time out, Ferrari secured a one-two.

How Norris views the performance from Ferrari

Charles Leclerc controlled the US Grand Prix last weekend after he took the lead on the opening lap. Carlos Sainz moved to P2 and ensured Ferrari took home more points than any other team. They left COTA just eight points behind Red Bull in second and 48 points behind McLaren.
When Norris was asked before the race weekend in Mexico if he is concerned that Ferrari came out so strong in Austin, he replied, "It's not worrying. They've been there for a long time this year. Again, like always, people wrote off Red Bull a lot, people wrote off Ferrari a lot. Ferrari have been very consistent through the whole season, and they were just very good last weekend. [Try] to use it as a positive and help get a bigger gap between what myself and Max will be achieving."
