Lando Norris in supportive boot after minor foot injury

Norris not only drives on a Formula 1 grid but has established himself online as a sim racer also and revealed during a livestream on Sunday about his requirement of a boot to his left leg.

It is understood that the Brit sustained a mild inflammation of a tendon in his left foot whilst out running, leading to the supportive boot.

He said in his stream after attending the British MotoGP at Silverstone about his leg: "Have you seen this? I got my leg support on.

“I did so much walking today and I'm injured. I should be alright.”

"I'll have to wear this beauty in the F1 car. I'll put it all under and this will be my race boot,” he joked.

Norris will look to continue his impressive rookie season in F1, in which he lies 10thin the standings, at Spa this weekend with McLaren who have been the ‘best of the rest’ team so far behind Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull.
