Incredible: Stroll drives the wrong way ahead of United States GP

Lance Stroll made a mistake prior to the United States Grand Prix. The Canadian started from the pit lane but drove to the grid anyway. The FIA will investigate the driver after the race.

Aston Martin turned up in Austin with a bunch of new updates. It was key for them to start well in the first and only free practice session, but only a handful of laps were completed. They had brake problems. Fernando Alonso failed to escape Q1. Stroll then retired from the sprint race on Saturday with more brake issues.

Aston Martin broke Parc Ferme rules overnight and will start in the pit lane.
