After rumours about a departure from the Austrian team over the winter break, Lambiase will stay with the Milton Keynes-based outfit and Max Verstappen in the 2026 season as well.
Speaking after the conclusion of pre-season testing in Bahrain, Red Bull's Head of Racing shared a positive verdict about the programmes they could complete on social media.
'GP' explained: "I think globally, we can be pleased with and proud of what the team has achieved to bring, ultimately, the new powertrain to the car, and to be able to complete as much mileage successfully as we have done. There's plenty to look at. We don't have much time before we set off for Australia.
"We've given the drivers as much time in the car as we can, they are feeling relatively comfortable. So yes, we look forward to Melbourne with excitement but with plenty work to do. Let's see where we are at on Saturday evening."

Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies was also positive. The Frenchman said: "The mileage we've completed across the nine days of shakedowns and testing is respectable. As I've said before, this is truly remarkable and a testament to all the hours of hard work put in by those back in the factory."
