Jos Verstappen has an idea about how Max Verstappen could have handled the extremely wet conditions better during qualifying for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The world champion’s father jokingly offered his son a rally car.
It was a slippery qualifying session in 'Sin City'. Max Verstappen, who usually loves racing in the rain, admitted that he enjoyed it far less this time.
When talking to Viaplay after the session, the Red Bull driver jokingly said: “It was great fun, very slippery."

He then continued, on a more serious note: “No, not at all. I do like driving in the rain, but not on ice. I’d be better off going rallying.

Viaplay has since posted a clip of this interview on Instagram.
Jos Verstappen, who won the Belgian Rally Championship title earlier this year, saw the post and responded: “Max. I still have a spare rally car,” followed by a few emojis.
