Jordan offers billions for online gambling platform

Back in November there were rumors that Eddie Jordan would be doing business in the world of online gambling. Now Jordan seems to be the only party left to buy Playtech from Dominic Walsh.

JKO Play of businessman and former owner of F1 team Jordan Grand Prix Eddie Jordan is about to buy online gambling platform Playtech from Dominic Walsh.

Businesspost.ie reports that Jordan has bid out the biggest competitor. In November it seemed that Australia's Aristocrat Leisure was going to buy the gambling platform. Jordan has reversed this with a bid of around three billion pounds. The shareholders' meeting on February 2 will examine the offer and any upcoming counter-offer from Aristocrat.
