Marcus Ericsson didn't have the amazing race his teammate Charles Leclerc had, but the Swede does apparently possess superpowers, as he somehow pushed
Romain Grosjean into the barriers according to the Frenchman.
Grosjean somehow spun out during a safety car and smashed his Haas into the wall. Grosjean, who famously never owns up to his own mistakes, communicated this on the team radio after he crashed;
"I think I got hit by Marcus Ericsson."
That's pretty impressive, as the Swede didn't pass the crashed car until seconds after he crashed into the barrier. The Swede laughed at Grosjean's comments after the race was done.
"I didn't know that one yet," he told the media scrum.
"This is not the first time Grosjean is trying to blame me for something, but this time it's very clear that he made it up.
"Apparently, I have superpowers that I can push him into the wall from a distance!"
This is not a good look for the credibility of Grosjean, who blamed his steering wheel and a knot for his crash after the race. What we think is that whoever manages to crash during a safety car, needs to have a long hard look at themselves.
