Former F1 champion Jenson Button believes that Max Verstappen is the fastest to have ever driven in the sport. The Dutchman has made a real impact this season, winning two races and currently sits joint-fourth in the drivers' standings on 212 points.
The 22-year-old is chasing a third-place finish in the drivers' standings and is currently just 9 points behind Charles Leclerc with four races remaining.
"Before this season Max Verstappen committed more errors, it was normal since it is young, but now is doing a fantastic job. I have a very special talent, " Button told Talksport.
"I think Verstappen is the fastest driver who has ever driven a Formula 1, I believe it. I think it's incredibly fast, "
He recorded a DNF at the Japanese Grand Prix so will be looking for better when the racing returns in Mexico next weekend.
