Is Max Verstappen predicting a slow start for Honda and Red Bull?

Red Bull Racing star Max Verstappen is excited to start another season with the Austrian team, but the 21-year-old did caution that it might take some time for Red Bull and new engine partner Honda to hit their stride.

Verstappen has won five races in the two and a half years he's spent at Red Bull Racing. In 2019, with a Honda engine under the bonnet, people are expecting a big upgrade in performance, and more wins for Verstappen and the team.

Speaking to Auto Bild, the Dutchman did caution that things won't get off to a flying start in Australia next month.

"We're in a good mood, but it will take a while," Max told the German news source.
