The calendar for the 2021 season in Formula 1 seems almost complete. Following the announcement that F1 will go to Saudi Arabia for the first time next year, it has already been indicated that a provisional calendar will be announced in the coming weeks. The coronavirus will still play a major role in this, although the paddock is likely to travel around the world again.
According to RaceFans we will be heading to Brazil and Interlagos. For a long time there has been doubt over the iconic circuit with a switch to Rio reported. There the plan is to build a new circuit, but due to uncertainties with the surroundings, those plans have been delayed.

Barcelona on the calendar

Interlagos will therefore host a Grand Prix for the 38th time. This while the contract between FOM and the organiser actually expired after the race this season. That fate also seemed to strike for another circuit, namely the circuit in Barcelona. However, according to RaceFans, Circuit de Catalunya will also get a spot on the 2021 calendar.
There calendar is expected to be announced this week.
