Charles Leclerc is one of the most respected drivers of the current F1 grid, with the Monegasque having the edge of every teammate he's had in his time in the series. Still actor Brad Pitt managed to make a good impression on him with his performance in the upcoming film, "F1". Leclerc and all his fellow drivers save for Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll, attended a private screening of the movie co-produced by fellow F1 driver
Lewis Hamilton.
The Monegasque was impressed with film overall, he stated to media like GPblog at Monaco.
"It was really cool. I mean, obviously, we are looking at it as Formula 1 drivers, and we always try and see all the small details that are not exactly the way we live things," said Leclerc.
Whilst some may not agree that a '
Hollywoodesque' approach would be best, the
Ferrari driver is actually optimistic about it.
"It's very Hollywood-like, and I think that’s really cool because it’s not just for F1 drivers in the end. It’s for a broader audience, and I thought it’s absolutely great for the sport to have a movie like that."

Leclerc very much impressed by Brad Pítt's commitment to "F1"
The movie's star, Brad Pitt, known for his utmost commitment to the roles he plays, did not dissapoint in this venture either. In fact, the Monegasque was impressed with the lengths Pitt went to in order to make the movie the most realistic it could be, driving the modifed F2 car himself for scenes in the movie.
"The scenes are incredible. I'm super impressed by how the camera was put onto the cars and the angles that we see from the cars driving. I know that Brad drove the car a little bit himself, which is very impressive, and I'm sure he enjoyed it."
"It’s really cool. And I think for F1 it’s amazing because we are reaching people that we wouldn't have reached without this movie. There’s a cool storytelling as well, so that’s nice."
