Ahead of the British Grand Prix weekend, the FIA will hold three press conferences, two with drivers and one with team leaders. Here is the lineup for Thursday, 3rd July and Friday, 4th July.
Participating in the FIA drivers' press conference on Thursday will be all British drivers. While selected at random, it just so happens that
Oliver Bearman,
Lando Norris and
Alexander Albon were all raised in England. However, Albon races under the Thai flag, thus making the British Grand Prix only an official home race for Bearman and Norris.
Those three will take part in the first press conference at 12:30 BST.
Joining the second conference at 13:00 BST will be
Charles Leclerc,
George Russell and
Yuki Tsunoda. Only Russell in the line-up is a British driver. Tsunoda, being a part of the
Red Bull Racing family, has spent plenty of time in Milton Keynes, where Red Bull is situated. It is only Leclerc who has no ties to Britain ahead of the grand prix (excluding his British teammate,
Lewis Hamilton).
Horner to appear before British media
On Friday at 14:00 BST, Aston Martin's Andy Cowell,
McLaren's Zak Brown, and Red Bull's
Christian Horner are set to join the press conference. All three teams have their headquaters in England with only Red Bull racing under a different flag.
It is noteworthy that Horner is appearing before the media during the British Grand Prix weekend, as
he is still involved in a case with the UK Employment Tribunal and is set to go to court in January 2025. With a Reporting Restriction Order in place, there is only so much the British media can ask or report on.
In early 2024, Horner was accused of inappropriate behaviour by an employee. Although the two investigations conducted by Red Bull Racing declared Horner was innocent, the woman took the case to the UK Employment Tribunal after her appeal was dismissed.
