Christian Horner saw in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix that Mercedes again had problems with porpoising. Although the team boss can well imagine that George Russell and Lewis Hamilton suffered from physical discomfort, he puts the responsibility on the racing stable.
The Briton sees that not all formations suffer from the problem that has returned to Formula 1 since this season. In conversation with The Race, he mentions a way in which Mercedes can offer a solution, although he wonders if it will do so.
"The easiest thing is obviously to raise a car. So… you know, the team has a choice to do that," Horner stated in the interview. "And you should never run a car that’s unsafe. But… I think that’s more for the technical guys – because there’s certain cars that have issues, and there are some cars that have few issues."

Mercedes would play games

Horner understands well that Russell and Hamilton made themselves heard over the board radio during the race and thinks this is the team's mission to keep the pressure on as high as possible. According to the team boss, Mercedes must fix the problem as soon as possible, so that both drivers can perform to the maximum again. In Baku, Russell and Hamilton finished in third and fourth place respectively.
