Highest number of positive corona tests in F1 paddock to date

Since the Grand Prix season is in full swing, the corona crisis and its dangers seem to have been pushed into the background. The number of cases in the F1 paddock is the highest to date.
Scientists have been warning for months to watch out for the second wave and it now appears it has arrived.

Bubbles are still doing their job

Although the figures in Formula 1 are not yet worrying thanks to the 'bubbles'. The organisation took 3256 tests last week from all staff involved in the Grand Prix weekends. Seven people were found to be positive and that is a record.
The FIA and Formula 1 can today confirm that between Friday 18th September and Thursday 24th September, 3,256 tests for COVID-19 have been performed on drivers, teams and personnel. Of these, seven people tested positive.

One person who has been infected is Will Buxton. The Brit reports on all races for the official channels of Formula 1. He announced earlier this week that this is why he will not be there this weekend.
