Lewis Hamilton will start from the back of the grid due to a penalty but he reports positive sounds from qualifying in the Italian Grand Prix. Hamilton finished the session in 5th place, only behind Red Bull Racing and Ferrari.

Hamilton pleased

The seven-time World Champion takes a fourth engine this weekend, with his older one still needing some repairs following his crash at the Belgian Grand Prix. Penalties aside, Hamilton was pleased with the car.
"It was an okay session. It was not my best session. Zandvoort was pretty good, but the car was feeling better. Today, we are naturally off the pace but fifth was the best that could do. I am losing like two tenths in the last sector," Hamilton told Sky Sports.
"Ultimately, as a competitor, I am like I need to figure out those last two corners but nevertheless. I am generally happy with that," Hamilton added.

With a lot of quick drivers at the back, plus a tight midfield a lot of DRS trains could form during the Grand Prix. Hamilton is aware of this and knows his challenge will be difficult. "It's going to be tough tomorrow," he added.
