Only last summer, Lewis Hamilton signed a new, two-year contract with Mercedes. The Briton activated a release clause only six months later, allowing him to end that commitment after just one year. With Ferrari, Hamilton will hunt for another world title from 2025, although he will have to make a modest financial sacrifice initially to do so.
At Mercedes, Hamilton will reportedly earn $55 million annually. The Brit is said to have chosen to agree to a higher base salary while bonuses were limited. At Ferrari - at least according to the Corriere della Serra - Hamilton would opt for a lower base salary, which could go up considerably thanks to performance bonuses.

This is Lewis Hamilton's salary at Ferrari

The Italian medium reports that Hamilton will earn 40 million euros per season. Hamilton's contract would run for two seasons, plus, incidentally, an option for a third year. So with bonuses added, the seven-time world champion could easily earn 100 million euros in two years.
Ferrari previously contracted Charles Leclerc. His salary is said to increase the further he gets in his contract that runs until 2029. It looks like Ferrari are going to spend by far the most on driver salaries.
