Hamilton's Final Preparation for Season Opener

Lewis Hamilton is trying to get himself ‘in the best position’ ahead of this weekend’s season opener in Melbourne.

The Brit, will be looking defend his world title in the new Mercedes W09 when the season begins on Sunday. And Hamilton’s final preparations are underway:

“I'm just trying to make sure that I am in the best position to understand the car and my tools because as soon as I get out on track, the steps you take in terms of moving the car forwards and improving the envelope you are working with it is crucial that every step is the right step,” the 33-year-old said.

The four-time World Champion added:

“It really is the teamwork, collectively, you know,

“The unit is just the best I’ve ever seen in Formula One and I’m pretty sure that sport’s ever seen.

“So I’m proud to be a part of that and I’m proud to be a part of that chain that helps win.”
