Lewis Hamilton was 10th fastest in FP2 at the Singapore Grand Prix, but claimed that Ferrari had "made steps forward today" between sessions and is "quite happy" with the progress.
"I feel like there’s lots of positives to take from today, lots of learnings and quite happy with the progress that we’ve made from session to session.”

The seven-time world champion shared that he is "quite happy" with Ferrari's progress so far during their outing around the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Hamilton was fourth fastest this morning in the first practice session, two places behind his teammate Charles Leclerc, who was ninth fastest in FP2 after a collision with Lando Norris' McLaren.
Hamilton said on F1TV: “It has generally been a good day, I have enjoyed driving the car.
"It’s the first time driving a Ferrari at this track and I’ve always wondered all these years, from looking on onboards over the years, what the differences would be.
"It’s the first time I got to feel that today and it was positive.
"Obviously, McLaren’s very fast and getting a clean lap is not easy, but I feel like there’s lots of positives to take from today, lots of learnings and quite happy with the progress that we’ve made from session to session.”

“I felt like we’ve made steps forward today, so I feel like overnight we probably won’t change much.
"But, of course, trying to refine the set-up and see if we can extract a little bit more to get as close as we can to the McLarens.”
Hamilton managed to finish 10th fastest in a chaotic qualifying session that saw his teammate collide with Norris in the pit lane after a "combination of things" led to confusion between the timing of their pit exits. The Briton himself came close to make contact with the wall himself on his final flying lap.
This is the first race weekend since the passing of his beloved dog Roscoe, who passed away at the age of 12 last Sunday.
