- Lewis HamiltonHamilton won his first Formula 1 title with McLaren back in the 2008 season. He was the last person to do that until Norris crossed the finish line in Abu Dhabi a day ago.
The Ferrari driver told GPblog after the race: "I'm really, really happy for him, he did such a great job this season.
"I told him going into the weekend just continue doing you. What you've been doing works so don't change it going to the weekend and just take it one corner at a time, that's what he did.
"Great to see another great win the championship and awesome for the sport it went right down to the last race."
