Lewis Hamilton is looking forward to going completely off the radar during the winter break to come back refreshed next year.
"No one's be able to get hold of me this winter. I won't have my phone with me. I'm looking forward to that. It's completely unplugged from the matrix"
- Lewis Hamilton
The seven-time world champion at least ended the season on a high, putting in a strong comeback in the Abu Dhabi race after being eliminated in Q1 for the third consecutive time yesterday and crossing the finish line in eighth.
Asked how he feels now that the season is over, Hamilton told GPblog: "I feel pretty fresh, just looking forward to the break."
Asked to reflect on the whole season, he further added: "I don't. I've said all I can about this season already, so there's not much more to add to it. Just looking forward to it just, just move forward."

"At the moment I'm only looking forward to just to the break, just to disconnecting, not speaking to anyone, no one's be able to get hold of me this winter. I won't have my phone with me. I'm looking forward to that. It's completely unplugged from the matrix."
Hamilton also added that he usually disconnects from the outside world at the end of the season, 'but this time it's going in the freaking bin."

Ferrari finishes the season fourth in the Constructors

The Maranello team endured one of the toughest seasons in its recent history, finishing without a single victory and with podiums coming only from Charles Leclerc, while Hamilton ended the year without a podium for the first time.
Like Hamilton, Ferrari will need to disconnect and start fresh next season, where there will be no room for mistakes.
