Max Verstappen has a 32 point lead in the championship, but Timo Glock does not want to write off Lewis Hamilton for the world title just yet. He does say that things need to change in the coming races.
After seven world titles for Mercedes, Red Bull Racing finally looks set to attack the dominance of recent years in 2021. Verstappen and his team lead the Formula One drivers' and manufacturers' championships, but Glock is not about to write Hamilton off just yet.

Don't write Hamilton off just yet

''You shouldn't write him off, you have to be very careful with that. Hamilton and Mercedes won't give in so easily, even though what Verstappen and Red Bull are showing at the moment is very dominant,'' the former Formula One driver said to Sky Germany.
Silverstone will however be an important test for Mercedes. ''If Verstappen and Red Bull can increase their lead in the next two or three races then there is clearly a chance of winning the title'', concludes the man who proved essential to Hamilton's first world title in 2007.
