Hamilton: "Maybe we can change this great track and make it even better"

Lewis Hamilton has suggested that the layout of the Monaco Grand Prix could change to help drivers with overtaking. The 2018 grand prix was largely a straight-forward affair, with the top six finishing exactly where they started despite the differing pace from some.
Hamilton was stuck nursing a used set of ultrasofts for the majority of the race, the long wheelbase of the Mercedes causing more blistering on the Pirelli rubber than rival teams.
After the race, he expressed his disappointment that there wasn't a lot of overtaking and that the race had been a case of driving to the flag.
“It wasn’t really racing,” he said. “Ultimately we were turned down and just cruising around to make sure we got to the end.”
“I spoke to Prince Albert and said that maybe we should make it longer.
