Former F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone believes that FIA president Jean Todt is neglecting Formula One. Ecclestone hasn't held back from criticising the state of affairs of Formula One, his comments the most recent in a long line of criticisms since Liberty Media took over the sport.
Speaking to Frances L'Equipe, Ecclestone said that he felt Todt was not fully focused on F1, instead focusing on the FIA's road safety programme.
"Jean Todt is very busy with many aspects to look after.
"He works 24 hours a day, but he neglects F1. His main project is road safety, but he must not lose sight of the sport.
"Liberty could distort and ruin F1 because they have no experience. I hope Jean takes back the reins for the future of Formula 1. The FIA must be the master of the kingdom."
