Lewis Hamilton may be leading the drivers’ standings right now, but he is always looking to improve, and he says that he will be looking to get a better qualifying result on Saturday on the streets of Monaco.
Hamilton only has one pole position this season, scored in the first race in Australia, whilst teammate Valtteri Bottas has claimed three in a row.
Since his pole in Australia, Hamilton has revealed that he’s been struggling with the car on Saturdays, saying: “The car is obviously great but I have struggled with it since Australia.
“My qualifying in Australia was just OK. I was just a tenth ahead. When I get things right, I should be different to that but there are areas to focus on and I will dialling in to try to understand.
“I will go around to different departments and find out as much data as possible in time for the next race but Fridays and Saturdays have not been great days for me, so the goal is to improve on that, but the race has been really strong.”
