Haas present their new car for F1 2024: This is the VF-24

Haas have showcased the new VF-24 to the world. The new car set to be driven by Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg should breathe new life into the team after the American racing team finished at the bottom of the rankings last season.

For Haas, 2023 was a pretty disappointing season. It started nicely with some points for Magnussen and Hulkenberg, but there were very few updates throughout the year. The only major update that came in the United States disappointed considerably. Guenther Steiner didn't have his contract renewed.

Haas' flamboyant team boss is gone. Gene Haas decided not to renew the team boss' contract and appointed Ayao Komatsu as the new person in charge of the team. The Japanese boss has work to do right away, as Haas do not want to finish last again.

Whether that is even achievable with the VF-24 remains to be seen. Komatsu did not exactly praise the car during its first press conference and will have to change that soon. The competition is not sitting still either. Haas last scored points at the Singapore Grand Prix in 2023.
