Guenther Steiner on Rich Energy: "Now we are more careful with sponsors"

Guenther Steiner has said that in the future Haas will be more careful with where they get sponsorship from after last year's issues with Rich Energy. The energy drink company pulled out halfway through the season and only paid the team half of the agreed sponsorship fee.
“We are a lot more careful now. We have not yet burned our fingers, but we are much more careful what we do and we are not rushing. You can make a mistake once, but not a second time,” Steiner told Racefans.net.
“I think that there is now an interim period, people have to realize that. Formula 1 didn't grow for a while and it didn't get better. I think Liberty is doing a good job of growing and showing that Formula 1 is getting better.
"It's generally better now, but it just needs time."
Haas rushed the deal with Rich Energy and did not take enough care in the process. Formula 1 is growing and the team are confident that this will make it easier to find more stable sponsorship deals.
