Gordon Ramsay believes swearing in Formula 1 isn't a problem. The chef actually expects the drivers to swear in the cockpit, given the task they are carrying out. He himself is known for his swearing during work and his own TV programmes including Hell's Kitchen.
Ramsay is present at this weekend's Las Vegas Grand Prix. The world-famous chef is working in his own 'garage'. Ramsay's garage has been serving food all weekend for those at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. But it will set 'fans' back $35,000.
Ramsay, who presents shows like Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, has been at the trackside experience himself in Las Vegas. But he has also had time to explore the Formula 1 world and weigh in on a number of different topical events in Formula 1.

What does Ramsay think about swearing in Formula 1?

In September, FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem pleaded for drivers to reduce their swearing in the sport. Verstappen swore during a press conference the same weekend in Singapore and received a community service ban. Charles Leclerc also received a (different) penalty for swearing. Ramsay focused on the language inside the cockpit when asked about the swearing saga.

"I'd be royally f***ed. Here's the thing. These guys, athletes, are driving in excess of 200mph. Within a split second, as we've seen before, their lives could go in a heartbeat. It's an industry language. They're at the top of their game. They're pulling three/four Gs going into breaking and accelerating. The odd word comes out, let it be. Don't interfere, don't mummify it. Keep it real," Ramsay weighed in during a conversation with Sky Sports.
