Full results FP2: Mercedes the fastest, Verstappen has to settle for P3

After the first free practice where Max Verstappen was just faster than both Mercedes drivers, he had to settle for third place in the second free practice. The Dutchman was not satisfied with his Red Bull.

Mercedes seems to be fast so far. Verstappen set a time of 1:17.310, three tenths slower than Valtteri Bottas' fastest time. Honda is doing well with Pierre Gasly in sixth place. Tomorrow will show whether Mercedes is actually faster than Verstappen, or whether the Dutchman manages to set the fastest time during qualifying.

The Alpine team seems to be doing well, Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso finished on P4 and P7. Aston Martin can also be satisfied with two places in the top ten.
