Entering the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Silverstone, many teams have decided to fit new engine parts on the cars. All four frontrunner teams also made changes.
Not only
Red Bull Racing have prepared updates for
Max Verstappen this weekend, but the Dutchman will receive a new internal combustion engine, MGU-K and exhaust system as well. The same applies to his teammate, Yuki Tsunoda. Moreover, the Japanese also got a new MGU-H as well.
Topping FP1 at his home Grand Prix,
Lewis Hamilton also got some new components together with his teammate, Charles Leclerc.
Ferrari fitted a new internal combustion engine, turbocharger, MGU-H, MGU-K, energy store, and exhaust system for their drivers.
Battling for the drivers' title, the two
McLaren drivers also have new engine components on their MCL39. Similarly to the aforementioned drivers, both
Lando Norris and
Oscar Piastri got a new internal combustion engine, and a new turbocharger, MGU-H and MGU-K. Moreover, Piastri's car was also fitted with a new exhaust system.
In terms of the Mercedes drivers, they have new internal combustion engines, turbochargers, MGU-Hs and MGU-Ks.
