McLaren still lead the Formula 1 Constructors' Championship, but an epic three-way fight is brewing. Three Grands Prix and one sprint remain on the Formula 1 calendar, and the top three teams are separated by less than 50 points. Meanwhile, Alpine managed to leapfrog themselves into P6 with the double podium for Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon.
With 35 points, Alpine scored more points than any other team on the grid. They also managed to comfortably surpass the total they had already achieved across the 20 Grands Prix weekend so far this season. They moved from ninth in the Constructors' Championship, all the way to P6.
Three teams are now fighting for sixth place in the championship. Just five points separate Visa Cash App RB in eighth and Alpine in sixth. There is a lot of money at stake for those three teams.
At the top, Red Bull Racing gained ground back on Ferrari. But McLaren still lead the way. Recently, Sergio Perez has struggled to earn enough points for Red Bull, but Oscar Piastri hasn't been doing too well either. The Australian has scored just 25 points in the last triple header which included two sprint weekends.
