Ferrari's Fiorano shakedown confirmed as SF-26 launch sparks hype

Ferrari's Fiorano shakedown will take place on 23 January ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season.
In 2025, there was huge anticipation ahead of Ferrari’s launch with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton joining the team.
This year, there is also plenty to be excited about, as a new set of regulations will be introduced in Formula 1.
The traditional Fiorano shakedown will take place on 23 January, the same day the SF-26 will be launched. Earlier this week, the Scuderia also revealed the race suits Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will wear this campaign.

Hamilton to have a new race engineer in 2026

After the initial confirmation that Riccardo Adami would continue alongside the British driver this season, the Italian team announced a change in his role. Adami will continue as Driver Academy and Test Previous Cars Manager.

Schumacher warns of drastic Ferrari changes if F1 title challenge doesn't happen

According to Ralf Schumacher, changes could take place at Ferrari if the team fails to meet expectations in the 2026 Formula 1 season.
The former F1 driver explained in the Backstage Boxengasse podcast: "If that doesn't work again, then of course there will be decisions. I'm pretty sure about that. But everyone knows that. That's nothing new with Ferrari. There is a wonderful statistic, how many team principals have already been there and how often drivers have been changed."
