Ferrari has made a deal with Armani for clothing for its drivers around the track. The drivers will receive their own tailor-made suits from the Armani cupboard with a dash of
Ferrari.
Ferrari announced the deal without elaborating on the financial side. It was all about the clothing and the interpretation of the strong Italian make. Indeed, both the racing team and the fashion brand are from Italy. John Elkann, director at
Ferrari, reports that style and elegance were important in the choice.
On the track, drivers Leclerc and Sains will of course wear their red
Ferrari colours, but around them, the two can now show off their skills in a bespoke suit by Armani. The suit is mainly intended for official events and when driving between venues. The deal was not only made around the gentlemen's clothing, but also in the Ferrari shop Armani has gained a lucrative spot. Special Armani clothing will be sold there, together with accessories and other products from the Armani factory.
