Verstappen hits back
Towards the latter stages of 2024, things began to heat up on and off the track between McLaren and Red Bull. After hearing
Zak Brown's critical comments about his racing at the Mexican Grand Prix,
Max Verstappen responded on an all-new
Viaplay documentary. At the
Mexican Grand Prix, Verstappen was heavily penalised for his actions against
Lando Norris while battling on the track. McLaren CEO Zak Brown labelled Verstappen as an awesome racer but stressed that he really didn't need to race in such an aggressive way.
In response to the American, Verstappen said:
"I always find that really funny too, coming from someone that failed themself in racing." See Verstappen's full response here.Coulthard labels Hamilton as his 'biggest disappointment'
Speaking to
Viaplay,
David Coulthard named
Lewis Hamilton as the driver he believes was the biggest disappointment of 2024.
"I would have to say that Lewis has been the disappointment, and I know that's controversial in that he's a seven-time world champion, he's a winning machine, but I've never seen this Lewis in Formula 1." The former Williams, McLaren and Red Bull driver said. Hamilton has officially become a
Ferrari driver today after almost a year of build-up to his blockbuster move. The 105-time Grand Prix winner will doubtlessly be hoping for a better campaign with the iconic Italian team.
