According to the
McLaren CEO, the fame brought by Netflix's Drive to Survive has changed the former Red Bull team boss over time.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Brown commented: "I’ve known Christian for 30-plus years. We used to get on. His results are amazing. So, hats off. But he’s changed. I think the Drive to Survive fame, the money, the glory, all got a bit much."
The American also reflected on Horner accusing his team of injecting water into their tyres.

Williams is the first team to reveal a special livery for the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix, which takes place this weekend.
The paint scheme celebrates the team's collaboration with title sponsor Atlassian and its AI teammate called Rovo.
Team principal James Vowles said of the design: "This striking livery is the latest celebration of our work with partners Atlassian, who are helping to accelerate our tech transformation and bring Williams right back to the cutting edge.
"There could not be a more iconic place to unveil this than in Las Vegas, one of the most tech-forward cities in the world.”
Verstappen can still complete 'most impressive win ever'

Max Verstappen can still win the 2025 drivers' title. Currently, the 2009 champion believes
Lando Norris is the favourite, but he cannot rule the Dutchman out.
Button explained on the Sky Sports F1 Show podcast: "He's still got a chance and I mean if he did win this championship, wow, it would be the most impressive win ever."
Qatar GP rule change announced
Pirelli has confirmed that tyre stints at the Qatar GP will be limited to a maximum of 25 laps to ensure safety. This means that on Sunday, everyone will have to make at least two pit stops.
