Eagle-eyed viewers will have spotted F1 using new graphics to make the halo look a more interesting two weeks ago in Baku. But today, F1 have announced they will introduce even more new graphics to ensure fans get all the relevant information.
Whilst using the onboard camera, fans will have noticed the live speed, gear, throttle usage, brake usage and engine rev information being displayed on the halo device.
“We have a number of datasets and we’re going to try and add as much as we can that is available,” Dean Locke, F1’s director of broadcast and media, said to motorsport.com.
“Teams aren’t going to give you anything that gives another team a competitive edge, but we can work with them.
“We still have things that we’ve already rolled out, like G-force - we can get that data - to the viewing public and excite them a little bit.”

I suppose seeing as the Halo is there, they may as well use it!
