A filmmaker with a soft spot for Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen and above all, Tazio Nuvolari and Ayrton Senna, is also a diehard Formula One fan since the age of 4 (mid-90's). An avid researcher of the past of Grand Prix Racing since before it was even named F1, and with a thirst for knowledge of the ins and outs of the actuality of the sport, as well as for the technical aspects that define it, is a member of GPblog since 2023, where he has put his love of racing to good use.
The movie produced by Lewis Hamilton starring Brad Pitt has seen its first full trailer released to the world and it's full of racing action and drama. Watch it now!
The movie is expected to hit theaters this summer on 27 June. The trailer shows a complicated relationship between cocky rookie, Joshua Noah Pearce, palyed by Damson Idris, and washed-up veteran, Sonny Hayes, played by Oscar winning actor, Pitt, who is recruited by team boss, Ruben, played by also Oscar winning actor, Javier Bardem.
Hayes' relationship with racing is complicated beyond words. Despite having the talent, it is suggested in the trailer he squandered it giving in to his vices and temptations, like gambling for instance. However, at his age, he is given the opportunity to race in F1 in Ruben's team. Things come to a head when the direction Pearce and Hayes are bound come to a head, detonating in a dramatic internal team battle. Make your way to theaters on 27 June to see how the story plays out.
