Max Verstappen has not won a race since Barcelona this season. The Singapore Grand Prix also remains as the only F1 circuit on the calendar where he is yet to claim a victory. The Dutchman remains certain that he will not take the victory this year either.

Verstappen not very positive

Asked whether he could secure a win this weekend, the Dutchman told Viaplay: "No, at the moment of course not at all. Yesterday it didn't run for metres. I do have hope that it will become a bit competitive with a few things we will adjust, but it won't be a big success story here I don't think."
During FP3, Verstappen nine tenths slower than Lando Norris, his biggest rival in the drivers' world championship. The McLaren driver is 59 points behind the three-time world champion with seven races to go in the current season.
