Max Verstappen took pole position for the Singapore Grand Prix, continuing a perfect weekend for the Dutchman.
The Red Bull driver had never topped a race or qualifying at the Marina Bay circuit, but continued a remarkable turnaround.
Having taken pole for, and won, the sprint race, he followed up as the fastest man in Grand Prix qualifying.
Behind Verstappen was Charles Leclerc, who performed a dramatic late turnaround, leapfrogging Ferrari teammate Lewis Hamilton, who was quickest in Q1 and Q2.
Joining Hamilton on the second row is championship leader Kimi Antonelli. His teammate and closest title rival, George Russell, was sixth, but will start from the back of the grid due to a number of penalties.

A noticable absence from the top 10 is Verstappen's teammate Isack Hadjar, who finished 22nd, unable to set a time with his RB22 suffering various issues.
