McLaren's lead in the constructors' standings only grew after the fifth round of the 2025 Formula 1 season. Meanwhile, Ferrari managed to gain on Red Bull Racing.
While the Scuderia's both drivers managed to score points today with Charles Leclerc finishing in P3 behind Max Verstappen, and Lewis Hamilton crossing the finish line in seventh place, Yuki Tsunoda's race ended in the pit lane after a collision with Pierre Gasly.
At the front, McLaren continued to extend their lead over the Mercedes, with Oscar Piastri winning the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix.
Williams made good progress in Jeddah, as Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon worked together to keep Isack Hadjar behind.
