Esteban Ocon will now join up with Renault for testing following the conclusion of the 2019 season in Abu Dhabi.
The two teams have reached an agreement which means Ocon can join Renault for the two-day tyre test after the final Grand Prix of the season.
These tests are set to take place on the 3rd and 4th December, with Renault allowing Daniel Ricciardo to fly home following the climax of the regular season.
Ocon is replacing the experienced Nico Hulkenberg from next season, who is still without a team and is now unlikely to secure one with one Williams seat the only one remaining to be decided for next year.
The 23-year-old has raced in F1 previously, making his debut at the 2016 Belgian Grand Prix.
