Max Verstappen won and led for the majority of the race. The Dutchman started from pole and has now won nine races in a row. He was virtually untouchable in Jeddah and looks set to continue his form in Australia.

Rookie Oliver Bearman scored six points in his first F1 race. Fans on TV named the 18-year-old Briton F1 Driver of the Day. He started from 11th on the grid and kept himself out of trouble whilst pushing right to the end. Lewis Hamilton also had a strong race with a masterclass in defence against Oscar Piastri.
