Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez were unable to finish the Bahrain Grand Prix. Both drivers had to deal with problems with their cars, leaving the Austrian racing team empty-handed afterwards.
Verstappen was excellent throughout the race and continued to lay claim to first place, but things still went wrong at the end of the race. The Dutchman lost power, causing him to see the distance from Charles Leclerc increase further. Behind him, several drivers caught up with him, after which he decided to go in.
Shortly after, Perez also experienced power problems. The Mexican spun in the middle of the track, so he too could do nothing but finish the first GP without points. It left Leclerc, Carlos Sainz and Lewis Hamilton on the podium.

GP of Saudi Arabia is next stop

The situation will be a big deal for Red Bull Racing, as it happened to both drivers. The team will be working hard behind the scenes in the coming days to find a solution. This weekend the next GP is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia.
