Renault development driver Artem Markelov has suggested he would turn down any offer received from Red Bull after suggesting Marko “ruins the careers of young drivers.”
Brendan Hartley, who currently drives for Toro Rosso, has been rumoured to face the axe having had a difficult start.
Russian Artem Markelov suggests he will not be up for replacing Hartley as he hopes to steer clear of Marko.
“Would I agree to go in the place of Hartley?” Artem discussed with Sport FM.
“If Renault gives the go-ahead it’s possible, but of my own volition, I would not sit in the Toro Rosso. Knowing Dr Marko, knowing how he ruins the careers of young drivers, I don’t need that.”
