Sebastian Vettel remains in the Championship battle, but only just. His fourth-place finish, alongside Hamilton's third-place, was enough to allow the Championship to roll on. A downbeat Vettel knew full-well how he should have done better. The German spun round in the opening lap of the race with a collision with Daniel Ricciardo.
"I'm happy for Kimi Raikkonen, but I'm not happy with my race," Vettel told Sky Sports.
The four-time World Champion was asked if a 1-2 was on the cards for Ferrari. He claimed he was unsure, but his emotional reaction on his face demonstrated deep-down he knew a better result should have happened.
"I don't know, for sure we could have done better than 1st and 4th. It should have been a better day," Vettel added.
"I'm really happy for him [Raikkonen] though, it's been a tough few weeks for the team and for me it doesn't seem to be over yet," Vettel said as he searched for positives.

The gap is now up to 70 points between the Brit and Vettel. With three races left, it still looks inevitable as we move towards the winter.
