Developing own talent plays a significant role in Formula 1. This is how Max Verstappen rose to the top with Red Bull Racing, and Lando Norris has been a part of McLaren from a young age. Aston Martin is following in the footsteps of these teams and announces major news on social media.
Currently, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll are the two drivers at Aston Martin responsible for scoring points. Alonso has been active in the sport since 2001 and can rightfully be considered a star with two titles to his name. Lance Stroll has been competing full time in Formula 1 since 2017, spending the last few years with Aston Martin's team.
Aston Martin launches its own talent program following top teams
The British racing green coloured team has been making progress for some time and
earlier this year attracted top designer Adrian Newey. To get even closer to the top teams, the team has now started its own talent program. It has also already added a driver to the academy, Mari Boya. Team boss
Andy Cowell said he was pleased with the developments for the team.
