The new 'F1' movie has been in cinemas for a few days now. The APX GP team has also reached the official F1 25 game. From now on, gamers can race with Brad Pitt, as Sonny Hayes, and Damson Idris, as Joshua Pearce. However, fans have noticed something remarkable. Sonny Hayes has been given a high rating in the Formula 1 game. The character played by Brad Pitt's rating currently stands at 88. In addition, he scores a 94 in terms of experience and a 93 in terms of racecraft.
Brad Pitt has higher rating than Piastri
Interestingly, Pitt in the Formula 1 game has been given a higher rating than
Oscar Piastri, the leader in the world championship.
The Australian currently has a fifteen-point lead over Lando Norris, who is second in the standings. Yet, EA Sports, the developer of F1 25, values the fictional character Sonny Hayes higher than the
McLaren driver.
Joshua Pearce, the character played by Damson Idris, is also rated higher than a number of the drivers. The fictional character is on par with Yuki Tsunoda with a rating of 82. Drivers such as Liam Lawson, Lance Stroll, Andrea Kimi Antonelli, and Isack Hadjar are rated lower than the character played by Pittt's co-star in the movie.
Fans can now also play with the official APX GP team in the F1 25 game. For those who own the game, an update has been released that allows players to engage in multiple scenarios based on moments from the movie.
GPblog already did a review on F1 25 at the end of May. The special game mode related to the ‘F1’ movie was already highlighted in this review.
Brad Pitt was present for some of the film's key moments. For example, the actor stood next to Max Verstappen to listen to the British national anthem. Pitt recently admitted that he felt 'a huge dork' at that time.
