Behind the scenes with De Vries at launch AlphaTauri AT04

Nyck de Vries recently made his first official appearance for AlphaTauri, where he will make his debut as a regular driver in 2023. Formula1.com was present in New York and followed the Dutchman behind the scenes.

De Vries was in New York for the unveiling of the AT04, with which AlphaTauri will be competing in the upcoming Formula 1 season. Together with his new teammate Yuki Tsunoda, he was seen there not only presenting the car, but also at the launch of the autumn/winter collection of the eponymous clothing brand.

The video first shows the driver duo being taken to a Brooklyn Nets basketball game. A day later, they prepare for the main event: the unveiling of the AT04. De Vries also tells how he once fed Tsunoda gin tonics, that he never finished watching the film Titanic because he was always crying, and perhaps most shockingly: that he doesn't own a car.
