Daniil Kvyat finished the Belgian Grand Prix in an impressive 7th place and is pleased with the way that his Toro Rosso performed. The team have picked up some valuable points after both drivers finished in the top 10, cementing their position in the constructor's championship.
"I'm very happy," Kvyat said to Sky Sports. "It was a fantastic race and we did very well with strategy and overtaking. The car was great today and I am really happy with the result.
"We can fight now with any other manufacturer. We have no fear on the straights. But still, the thing that we are missing is the Saturday pace over one lap. On Sundays, it has been very very strong and hopefully, they will keep on improving and they can bring some more horsepower."
Kvyat wanted to prove himself this weekend and will hope to impress in Monza next weekend as well.
