Cunning Brad Pitt knocks Brundles' socks off driving the wheels off McLaren's F1 car

Brad Pitt's racing bug is not out of his system yet, as the star of 'F1: The Movie', took up the opportunity to take the 2023 McLaren car out at COTA.
Lando Norris, also tagged along for the adventure, and as he, Pitt and Brundle discussed the order they would drive the car, with the Sky Sports analyst and former F1 driver, putting the current runner-up in the drivers' standings behind the wheel, first, with Pitt as his companion.
Brundle then volunteered to be the American actor's passenger for the second outing, to which Norris replied with surprised and laughter: "You're (Pitt, ed.) going to drive him (Brundle, ed.)?" Norris asked in the Sky Sports video.

Pitt shows off superb race craft

As Norris drove Pitt around COTA, the American star asked questions and made cunning observations such as on the exit of Turn 6: "You sacrifice (the exit of, ed.) this corner here," to which Norris repplied: "Yes, exactly. You sacrifice the first one to get a good exit."
As the Norris guided tour continued, Pitt could be seen asking question regarding braking points and other technical bits, with Norris' instincts at a certain point etraying his coaching role. As they approached the treachorous Turn 19 of the daring track, the American asked the Briton for the braking point reference: "And then here, at the 75 (braking meter board, ed,.) or the 50?" To which Norris replied with a dumbfounded, "I don't know," to which Pitt simply responded with a "Gotcha."

Pitt's #1 perk of being an F1 star? 'Driving an F1 car'

As Pitt chatted with the engineers regarding the procedures of the MCL60, a message sent by McLaren CEO Zak Brown and current F1 championship leader Oscar Piastri was revealed to him. "Brad I'm sorry Oscar and I couldn't be there with you today. We're here in Cannes doing a little bit of work. I hope you have an awesome day. I'm glad we were able to make this work." Piastri on his side added: "I hope you have fun, I hope you enojoy it, and yeah, all the best."
Pitt readied himself to take the MCL60 for a spin around COTA, as he and Brundle shared a few words. The American asked the Briton: "Are you still buzzing?", to Bundle's reply: "Yeah, it was amazing." "What got your attention?", inquired Pitt. Brundle's reply "Just the rivalled speed into the corners. It just goes and goes and goes. The relentless acceleration of the thing."
Brundle then expressed his full respect for Pitt taking the chance to drive an F1 car. The American then revealed: "I get a lot of perks in this job. This one? Number 1," the Hollywood start conlcuded.
